11000 Internal Fault GDSP SPI COMM Generator DSP SPI Communication System Severity Level 3 This fault is declared if the software is unable to communicate to the Generator DSP via the SPI Bus. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Communication failure has occurred between the Generator DSP and Main CPU Fault shutdown sequence This fault may be reported with a series of faults as part of a shut- down sequence. Faults can sometimes occur that disable the DSP and communications will stop to the Main processor without being reported. Troubleshoot other faults in the system. Intermittent noise Our system is designed to be as immune to noise as possible, however, utility transients or other events may cause intermittent noise. Reboot system and attempt operation. Grounding Incorrect grounding of the system can lead to intermittent communications problems within the system. Verify system is grounded per installation instructions. Software compatibility A compatibility error will occur when uploading software and the Main CPU does not match with a correct version of DSP software. Finishing uploading code set to fix Software Compatibility Fault. ECM Control Board If this fault is reported every time the system powers up, then the control board may have failed components. Attempt an ECM Control Board PM upload. Replace ECM Control Board.
