1008 Internal Fault ADC ACC HI ECM Analog/Digital Conversion Accuracy High System Severity Level 3 This is an analog accuracy fault and is declared when VRef/2 signal is greater than a predetermined value. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Vref/2 Signal high Ground wiring Refer to Installation Manual for proper grounding configuration. Correct electrical wiring configuration Shorted load Verify external loads do not have a short from phase to neutral or from phase to ground. Disconnect the loads and start the system in Stand Alone mode. Fix problem with loads Incorrect refer- ence voltage Components on the ECM Control Board that generate the reference voltage signal have failed. Attempt an ECM Control Board PM upload. Replace ECM Control Board. 1009 Internal Fault ADC CONVERT ECM Analog/Digital Conversion Fault System Severity Level 3 The software verifies that the A/D converter signals the successful end of conversion within a predetermined time from initiating the process. This fault is declared if verification is not successful. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Conversion status signal not received A/D converter has failed Component that converts analog to digital signals has failed Attempt an ECM Control Board PM upload. Replace ECM Control Board.
