The Capstone 60 may be commanded on or off (and in Grid Connect operation may be commanded to different power output levels). These are dispatch commands, and there are several schemes by which the Capstone 60 may be dispatched. Manual Dispatch When the Capstone 60 is commanded on or off (and Grid Connect to an output power level) manually, this is termed the Block Load dispatch mode. This is the default dispatch method for a new Capstone 60 as shipped, and is the configuration resulting from a Set Defaults command. External Switch Dispatch The External Switch dispatch mode allows an external signal to control the on/off status of the Capstone 60 (at the commanded output power level for Grid Connect). Auto-Restart The Capstone 60 includes an automatic restart feature which can be switched on or off by the user. If Auto- Restart is ON, the system will attempt to restart after most system or grid initiated shutdowns. Enabling Auto-Restart will increase system availability and is recommended by Capstone.
