Operates at variable temperature vs. speed ‰ Nominally 1240 °F at 45,000 RPM ‰ Nominally 1100 °F at > 80,000 RPM 4. Operating temperature may be reduced with decreasing ambient temperature to prevent surge  Reduced power @ max speed & temperature ‰ Internal engine failure ‰ DPC dissipating power (brake, short, RFC, etc.) 6. Reduced power while not at max temperature is most likely a limitation of fuel supply ‰ Limited flow or Btu contentReduced power while not at max speed is most likely a limitation of generator current capability ‰ Low magnet strength Generator  Permanent Magnet Motor 2.
