GROUND PWR+ PWR- KVAR+ KVAR- GROUND FLT2 FLT1 GROUND START/STOP GC SA J12 UCB External <100 ft Remote Digital Input CHASSIS 1 An initial Start command must be received by the microturbine to initiate operation, even if the system is configured for use with Load Management dispatch modes. Ensure that the Grid Connect Interlock has been linked (enabled). • CRMS: Press the green START button. • Display panel: Press and hold the INTERLOCK and START buttons simultaneously. • Remote: Start Command on the digital input through contact closure. The above start command was configured for User dispatch mode. If the microturbine was configured for Remote dispatch mode then the Start command would have been issued through a contact closure on the Start/Stop digital input. 4.4. Stopping a Grid Connect System A Stop command can be performed at any time during the microturbine operation. If the dispatch mode is set to User then the Stop command can only be given through CRMS, front panel display or a third party Building Management System (BMS).
