4.5.3.6 Load Management Submenu System Data 1/11 System Config 3/8 Load Management 6/12 TIME OF USE The Load Management submenu allows the user to select a load management option for Grid Connect operation, as described on page 24. The three dispatch modes for Grid Connect are Base Loading, Load Following, and Time of Use. This submenu is used to select either Load Following or Time of Use. If neither of these is selected, the microturbine performs base loading, which is the default for Grid Connect operation. The available selections for this submenu are as follows: • DISABLE – This disables load management • NOT USED – Load management not used • LOAD FOLLOWING – Load management set to Load Following • TIME OF USE – Load management set to Time of Use 4.5.3.7 External Auxiliary Load Submenu The External Auxiliary Load submenu is used to enable operation of an Auxiliary Load Controller (ALC) connected to the microturbine. This parameter is set to ENABLE if using an ALC. Otherwise it is set to DISABLE. 4.5.3.8 Auto Restart Submenu The Auto Restart submenu enables or disables the system's ability to automatically attempt a restart after an incident-driven shutdown. The microturbine, however, will not attempt a restart if the fault that caused the shutdown is a serious (high level) fault, even if Auto Restart is enabled by this submenu.
