Application Notes: Fuel Gas Booster Installation Instructions for the Model 330 Software Parameters The Capstone software must be setup to treat the Fuel Gas Booster as an External Auxiliary Load. Any of the output relays may be configured to perform this function; however, the specified wiring connections demonstrate the use of Relays 4 and 2. Note that the output relay 1 is not connected but it MUST BE set to CONTR CLOSED, ACTIVE CLOSED. Also the output relay 4 is not used but MUST BE set to LOAD STATE, ACTIVE CLOSED. Using the Display Panel on each MicroTurbine as shown in Figure 1, proceed as follows: 1. On the UCB Relays menu, Relay#4submenu,settoLOADSTATE,ACTIVECLOSED Relay#2submenu,settoEXTLOAD,ACTIVECLOSED Relay#1submenu,settoCONTRCLOSED,ACTIVECLOSED 2. On the System Data menu, System Configuration submenu, External Aux Load submenu, set EXT AUX LOAD to ENABLE. 3. On the System Settings menu, Fault Input #1 submenu, set Fault Input #1 to ENABLE, SSL to 3, and Time to 10 seconds.
