Situated just outside the centre of Laholm in Sweden, 5060 apartment blocks are supplied with The Laholm energy production plant. both electricity and heat from the CHP plant, which processes around 35,000 tonnes/year of waste. This provides 3,0004000 m3/day of gas. The project is a co-operation between SHK Energi AB, the Municipality of Laholm and the Swedish Council for Building Research.
