Hospitality City Express Hotel Mexico City, Mexico At the bustling Paseo de la Reforma roundabout that circles Mexico City’s famous El Ángel de la Independencia (The Angel of Independence) column sits the 130-room City Express Hotel. Before opening to the public, hotel executives turned to Capstone Turbine for an onsite power system solution. In 2008, Capstone installed three C65 microturbines that serve as a cogeneration system providing 145kW of electricity and heat to produce 120 gallons-per-minute of hot water for the hotel.
