Behavior of Capstone and Honeywell Microturbine Generators During Load Changes that the control system’s attempt to keep this temperature constant contributes to the slow approach to 0 kW in this test. Second Tests (October 25, 2000) During the second set of tests, there was some difficulty in running the turbine below 10 kW, so some of the lower power output results may not be accurate. Also, because of the problems at low power, several turbine shutdowns and start ups were recorded. The low-power problem was not observed during the earlier testing done in 1999 and described above. From the graphs of the MTG output (Appendix B), turbine ramping times were determined. These times are shown in Table 5 below. Table 5.
