The FGB is a variable-speed drive device that serves to boost the inlet supply pressure of low-pressure Natural Gas. The Model C60/C65 MicroTurbine inlet operating pressure requirement is: 517 to 552 kPa gauge (75 to 80 psig) for high-pressure natural gas. Supply pressures that fall below the lower limit require the FGB installation. The FGB can operate on AC voltage from the grid (P/N 518752-1XX) or DC voltage from the Model C60/C65 MicroTurbine (P/N 516592-1XX). Figure 1.
