Capstone Turbine Corporation • 21211 Nordhoff Street • Chatsworth • CA 91311 • USA Technical Reference: Advanced Power Server (APS) A C1000 series controller controls turbines within a C1000 series package that are organized into groups, and CRMS-APS can communicate with these groups and individual turbines when it is connected directly to a single C1000 series controller. However, when a C1000 series controller is connected in a MultiPac under the control of an APS, the CRMS-APS software communicating with the APS relates to the C1000 series package as a single microturbine. This means that it does not communicate directly with the groups or individual turbines in the C1000 series package. After it is added to a group, each C1000 series turbine must be MultiPac-enabled at its controller using CRMS-APS. Refer to C1000 Series MultiPac Setting on page 75 for the required steps to correctly MultiPac-enable a C1000 series controller. Figure 45. Adding a C1000 to a Group 6.7.2.3 Editing a Group Setting The group setting function lets you make a MultiPac enable/disable setting for all turbines in a group or send a battery start to a Stand Alone group. Select Edit Group Setting from the drop- down list at the bottom of the Configuration window, as shown in Figure 46. This opens the Group Setting window showing the number of the group selected. Select MP Enable ON or OFF, or Battery Start ON or OFF from this window. Refer to C1000 Series MultiPac Setting on page 75 for a detailed description of this function. 410079 Rev.
