Connect the remaining DMSC terminals to MicroTurbine or APS as directed in the following sections. Then complete the MicroTurbine or APS configuration as detailed in the DMSC User’s Manual (400023). 6. If the DMSC is connected to an APS rather than to a MicroTurbine, the APS is normally used to wake up the systems from sleep mode. In order for the BSTART battery wake-up function on the DMSC to be operational, an additional connection must be made between the DMSC and the MicroTurbine as shown in Figure 19 and Figure 20. DMSC Jumper Connections In addition to the MicroTurbine or APS connections, this document describes optional DMSC connections to the Annunciator Panel, the Capstone Protective Relay (CPR), and Neutral-to- Ground relay. If an optional accessory is not connected to the DMSC, certain terminals on the DMSC must have jumper wires connected between them. The DMSC is shipped with these jumper wires installed, but they must be removed if the optional equipment is connected, and reinstalled if the optional equipment is disconnected. Refer to Table 4 and Figure 14 for the DMSC jumper wire requirements when making the MicroTurbine and APS connections described in the following paragraphs. Table 4.
