Capstone Turbine Corporation 21211 Nordhoff Street Chatsworth CA 91311 USA Technical Reference: Dual Mode System Controller (DMSC) DMSC PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION The following paragraphs describe the controls and indicators, internal components, and physical and electrical characteristics of the DMSC. DMSC Controls and Indicator Lamps The DMSC has three user controls: POWER ON switch (S1), MODE switch (S2), and MANUAL RESET switch (S3). It also has six indicator lamps: LINE POWER OK (LP2), LOADPOWER OK (LP1), MICROTURBINE AWAKE (LP3), SWITCH CLOSED (LP4), SWITCH OPEN (LP5), and REMOTE TRIP (LP6). Figure 4 shows the front panel location of the user controls and indicator lamps. Refer to the DMSC User’s Manual (400023) for details of the user controls and indicators.
