The SWITCH CLOSED lamp (LP4) illuminates, and the SWITCH OPEN lamp (LP5) extinguishes. 14. When the disconnect device (M1) closes, the microturbine and protected loads are connected to the utility. At this point, protected loads are re-energized. The total time protected loads are without power is less than five seconds. 15. The LOAD POWER lamp (LP1) illuminates. 16. Once M1 closes, the Start/Stop signal is opened by auxiliary switch contact M1-A1 causing it to become inactive, and the GC Enable signal is activated through auxiliary switch M1-A2. These inputs cause the microturbine to begin the reconnect sequence to Grid Connect mode while the utility grid powers the protected load. 17. The reconnect sequence to Grid Connect mode takes a minimum of 5 minutes, as specified by IEEE 1547.1 and UL 1741. The user can adjust the internal reconnect timer on the microturbine to delay the reconnect sequence from 5 to 30 minutes.
