If applicable, this ensures the electric interconnection meets the requirements of the local electric utility. All Capstone MicroTurbines have their own built in protective relays which are UL1741 approved and meet the requirements of most electric Utilities. There are cases where Utilities may require an independent protective relay. In this instance, a Capstone Protective Relay is used. Figure 1 - Capstone Protective Relay 480015 Rev.
