On the System Settings menu > Fault Input #1 submenu, set Fault Input #1 to ENABLE. Set SSL to 3 and time to 12 seconds. c. Reboot the MicroTurbine to activate new configuration. 7. Power up the Unifin-2 heat exchanger. 8. Ensure the unit is in Standby position (i.e., no input from MicroTurbine to turn ON system). FIELD CONNECTIONS BY CUSTOMER J9 J1 J3 J5 J7 Turbine Fault Contacts (J9) 1 0 DIP Switch #8 9. Measure the resistance using a DVM on the J9 Turbine Fault contact terminals to verify operation. In Normal operation (no fault), the dry contacts should be CLOSED and measure continuity. NOTE: If this is not the case, verify the Unifin-2 DIP switch settings, and if necessary, set DIP switch #8 to the alternate position and retest. 10. Remove power from the Unifin-2. The MicroTurbine should display a “7005 IN FLT1 LVL3” fault indication. Responsibility It is Capstone's responsibility to provide this Service Bulletin containing description of the problem and a recommended solution to Capstone's Authorized Service Providers. It is the Authorized Service Provider's responsibility to notify the customer, schedule a site visit, and perform the required service to remedy the issue.
