Summary On the Model C6X MicroTurbine systems, it is possible that over time, undesired movements of the TET probe can occur, that may result in incorrect engine temperature readings and subsequent system faulted shutdowns. This service notice is issued to inform Capstone business partners of the availability of a field retrofit kit for Model C6X MicroTurbines shipped prior to February 2006. The retrofit kit installs over the TET probe and prevents any undesired movements of the probe. Customers who wish to order the retrofit kit may contact Capstone and ask for Kit Part Number 610141-100. For installation details, refer to TET Probe Retainer Clip Installation Work Instructions (440149 Rev. B or later).
