Capstone Turbine Corporation • 21211 Nordhoff Street • Chatsworth • CA 91311 Service Bulletin: DMC Relay Update – Model 330 MicroTurbine Installing New Relay (Inside DMC) Refer to Figures 1 through 5 as required. 1. Open the DMC door. Install the new relay (Rn) at a convenient location on the DIN rail, as shown on Figure 1. 2. Remove UCB to DMC wires from DMC terminals 11 and 13. Insulate both wires using wire plugs or electrical insulating tape. 3. Remove the UCB to DMC wire from DMC terminal 12 and connect it to terminal A2 of the Rn relay coil. Connect terminal A1 of the relay coil to DMC terminal 5. 4. Remove the UCB to DMC wire from DMC terminal 14 and connect it to DMC terminal 6. 5. Connect the relay’s normally closed contact to DMC terminals 11 and 13 (Relay terminal 11 to DMC terminal 11, and relay terminal 12 to DMC terminal 13). 512772-001 (Sept 2001) Page 3 of 12 Service Bulletin SB0024..
