Summary Capstone has introduced flexible (“bellows”) injectors to improve combustion stability and combustor liner life. Legacy C200 engines listed in Table 1 do not yet have these injectors installed. These engines require the installation of a kit that consists of 4 flexible and 2 fixed injectors. Capstone will provide incident report (IR) numbers and ship appropriate kits for systems listed in Table 1. Required Action • Systems identified in Table 1 must install the kit(s) indicated. Refer to C200/C1000 Gaseous Fuel Injector Replacement Work Instruction (440193 Rev C or later) for specific instructions. o ForsystemsnotyetcommissionedasofApril15,2013,kitsmustbeinstalled prior to or at time of commissioning in order to maintain warranty/FPP coverage on the engine. o ForsystemsalreadycommissionedasofApril15,2013,kitsmustbeinstalled within 30 days of receipt of parts from Capstone in order to maintain warranty/FPP coverage on the engine. 450120 Rev A (April 2013) Page 1 of 3 This information is proprietary to Capstone Turbine Corporation.
