Summary Capstone has introduced an adjustable igniter (529230-XXX, kit 610688-1XX) which is now standard in all production units, as well as a 2X adjustable igniter (530198-XXX, kit 610688- 2XX) for extended serviceability. These igniters include shims and gaskets which allow the igniter tip to be adjusted to the correct depth relative to the combustor liner. An igniter depth gauge tool (610308-1XX) has also been released. This tool is used to measure the igniter guide depth at the combustor liner. Required Action The following action is required to maintain warranty/FPP coverage: • At next igniter replacement, install adjustable igniter (529230-XXX, order kit 610688- 1XX) or 2X adjustable igniter (530198-XXX, kit 610688-2XX). Refer to Capstone Model C200 MicroTurbine®/C1000 Series Adjustable Igniter Replacement Work Instructions (440279 revision D or later) for specific instructions. • Use igniter depth gauge tool (610308-1XX) to measure the igniter guide depth when installing igniter.
