Chiller Clean chiller condenser as needed Test Glycol in chiller for freeze point using an ethylene glycol refractometer. For systems with minimum ambient temperature of 0 ̊F or above, replace if glycol freeze point is above - 35 ̊F. For systems with minimum ambient temperature of -40 ̊F or above, replace if glycol freeze point is above -60 ̊F. Refer to attached glycol change procedure and tool list. Clean strainer installed on chiller Siloxane Filtration Perform a siloxanes test to determine the proper siloxanes media change out interval, and change out the siloxanes media at this interval. Refer to attached change out procedure. Note: spent siloxanes media is classified as a special waste in the United States, and a special waste application must be filed at the sanitary landfill of choice before disposal. Turbines Refer to the Micro Turbine user manual for proper procedure in the following checks. Check Micro Turbine external fuel filters and replace as necessary. Check Micro Turbine combustion air filters and clean/replace as necessary. Check Micro Turbine electronics air filters and clean/replace as necessary.
