Introduction
This is Volume Two of three Applications Guides for the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) market segment. Volume Two describes how to recover and use Capstone MicroTurbine exhaust to meet your heating needs through an indirect liquid medium. Examples of hot water use may include:
• District / building space heating
• Domestic hot water heating
• Industrial process water heating
• Wastewater treatment
• Desiccant reactivation
• Swimming pool & spa heating.
Volumes One and Three describe how to properly recover the exhaust of Capstone MicroTurbines for direct use and chilled water applications, respectively.
