7004 Internal Warning IN FLT1 LVL 2 Input Fault1 Level 2 System Severity Level 2 Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Input Fault 1 Detection Is Enabled, But UCB Contacts Are Closed. Fault 1 Input Not Supposed To Be Enabled Enabling of this fault is user select- able. Even if enabled, fault mecha- nism is designed fail safe by faulting on contact closure. If not using this fea- ture, disable from dis- play panel or RS232 to avoid nuisance faults. Fault 1 Input Debounce Time Too Short User can select the amount of time this signal must be present before a fault is reported. Sequencing may cause equipment to reside in state that causes nuisance faults. Extend user programm- able debounce time for fault input from Display or RS232 to avoid nui- sance faults. Wrong Action Taken On Fault User has the ability to assign action taken when fault is detected through user adjustable settings. For warning conditions set level to 2. For a normal shutdown sequence set level to 3. When output power must be disabled set level to 4. Change SSL of fault from Display or RS232 to action taken when fault present. Input Fault1 Wires Are Shorting Fault is detected when UCB TB4 pin 6 (DI-3) and TB4 pin 5 (DI-RTN) have contact closure. Check user equipment for fault. Check wiring for short. Option Port Harness Interlock signals are carried from the UCB back to the DPC through the Option Port Harness. Ensure that these connections are secure and wire is dry and not damaged. Secure or dry Option Port Harness at UCB and DPC. Replace if damaged. UCB Failed If all connections are secure, circuitry on UCB must not be functioning cor- rectly. Replace UCB DPC Control Board Failed The DPC Control Board has circuitry that communicates with the UCB. Assume this has failed. Replace DPC Control Board Observe Safety Precautions - Refer to Important Safety Instructions for Details 511521-002 123 Troubleshooting Guide This information is confidential and proprietary to Capstone.
