6017 Internal Fault GEN HTSNK TEMP Generator Heatsink Temperature System Severity Level 3 When reducing the system power output is not successful at reducing generator heat sink temperatures, then this fault is declared when the generator heat sink temperature exceeds a predetermined value. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Generator Heatsink Reading Greater Than Limit Noise On Input Signal Improper grounding of the sys- tem can cause erratic readings from sensors. Correct System Grounding Ambient Conditions Too Hot Controller has been installed in an environment that is too hot for specified operating range. Provide Cooler Ambi- ent Temperature Con- ditions Heatsink Fans or Vent Fan Failed Verify the heatsink and vent fans in the controller are rotating when the system is starting.
