16004 Fuel Fault LF FAIL LINFIL Liquid Fuel Failure on Line Fill System Severity Level 3 This fault occurs during the system start sequence if the delta pressure measurement is less than 10 psig after 10 seconds of filling, while attempting to fill any single injector. Numerous 16004 faults will cause the 16000 “Pump Not Primed” fault to be reported, forcing the user to re-prime the fuel system. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution System does not light when started Faulty Pressure Transducer Compare inlet pressure reading to actual pressure supplied to system Replace Pressure Transducer Boost Pump failure Boost Pump power source may not be installed correctly Verify Boost Pump electrical connections Boost Pump may not be enabled by user Verify user-adjustable setting Boost Pump power leads may be reversed Correct wiring to Boost Pump Fuse on the UCB board may be damaged. Replace fuse on UCB board Clogged Fuel Injector Fuel Injector may be clogged Replace Fuel Injector(s) System not primed or air in fuel lines If system has not been primed, air in fuel system will cause intermittent faults. Prime fuel system Clogged Inlet Filter Loose connection to Inlet Filter element Tighten Inlet Filter connection Check and verify system inlet for contaminants.
