12012 Internal Fault BATT TEMP SH Battery Thermistor Short Failure System Severity Level 5 The software declares a Battery Thermistor Short fault, when the measured battery temperature from battery thermistor exceeds the Transient Battery Short parameter, for any sample period. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The BCT DSP Has Detected the Short Circuit Condition of the Battery Thermistor. The assumed short temperature for the Battery Thermistor is set wrongly. Make sure that the BCT Battery PM is programmed properly, and it is supported by the installed BCT control software. Re-program the BCT Battery PM. Debris or water in package. Clean the BCT controller. Check the connection of the cable between Battery Pack and the port J3 of the BCT control board. Clean the BCT controller Faulty Battery Thermistor Battery Pack needs replacing. Replace Battery Pack Faulty BCT Control Board BCT control board needs replacing. Replace BCT Control Board (See Document 513175) 12013 Internal Fault BATT PM OP Battery PM Temperature Sensor Open Failure System Severity Level 5 The software declares this fault when the measured battery temperature from the battery Personality Module is less than the Transient Battery Open parameter, for any sample period. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution The BCT DSP Has Detected the Open Circuit Condition of the Battery Personality Module Temperature Sensor. The assumed open temperature for the Battery Personality Module Temperature Sensor is set wrongly. Make sure that the BCT Battery PM is programmed properly, and it is supported by the installed BCT control software. Re-program the BCT Battery PM. Open/Loose Connection Check the connection of the cable between Battery Pack and the port J3 of the BCT control board. Tighten cable connections Faulty Battery Personality Module Temperature Sensor Battery Pack needs replacing. Replace Battery Pack Faulty BCT Control Board BCT control board needs replacing.
