Application Guide for the Copeland Fuel Gas Booster on Non-Pipeline Gas Applications Engineering Bulletin From: Copeland Customer Service Subject: Fuel Gas Booster Applications Guide for Non-Pipeline Gas This document describes GENERAL guidelines for using the Copeland Fuel Gas Booster with landfill gas, digester gas and other fuel gases that do not meet the standards for Pipeline Quality Natural Gas. Please refer to the Fuel Gas Booster Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual for more specific details on the product. Form Number 2000-44. Note: The word “system” refers to the Copeland Fuel Gas Booster in this guide. The Copeland System is designed and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) approved to compress U.S. Pipeline Quality Natural Gas. When used to compress Pipeline Quality Natural Gas the Copeland System is Underwriters Laboratory (*UL) approved for installation in ORDINARY LOCATIONS ONLY. Other uses for this piece of equipment are not recommended and could result in PROPERTY DAMAGE, POTENTIAL INJURY OR DEATH. The Copeland System and related equipment must be installed and maintained in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local codes. The requirements for installation and operating permits and inspections vary by jurisdiction. The end user must determine these requirements and insure that all applicable standards are met. The Copeland system must be installed, maintained and used in accordance with the instructions contained in the Copeland Manual. This guide is for general information only. It is the end user/owners responsibility to accurately apply the system.
