5. Brake resistors With the Digital Multimeter in Resistance mode, measure the resistance of the brake resistor - it must be 7 ohms. F. Re-install Components When the troubleshooting procedure is completed, re-install all components back into their original positions by applying correct torque values specified in this section. Refer to the following tables for recommended torque values. 6. Inductors Check the resistance from the inductors (Generator side) to the chassis ground - there should be no shorts.
