9006 Internal Fault GDSP BRAKE IGBT Generator DSP Brake IGBT (Brake IPM Fault) System Severity Level 6 This fault is reported when there is a problem with the Brake IGBT Module. Symptom Probable Cause Analysis Repair Solution Fault occurs with high ambient temperature and/or cyclical loads ECM cooling problem Check ECM fan operation: Verify connections from J5 on ECM Control Board to J4 on Fan Inverter Board. Verify connections from J2 on Power Board to HV DC IN on Fan Inverter Board. Fix cable connections. Replace Fan. Check Fan Inverter operation. Replace fuses. Replace Fan Inverter. Check electronics air filter. Clean or replace electronics air filter. Fault is ambient temperature related ECM Control Board Fault occurs intermittently with ambient temperature changes. Replace ECM Control Board. Fault is continuous: MicroTurbine system is non-operable ECM IGBT control cable Check the ECM IGBT control cable for loose connections. Re-insert cable. Replace cable. Brake resistor wiring Check for shorts in wiring. Replace brake resistor harness. ECM IGBT Module Fault occurs consistently after system reboot. Replace ECM IGBT Module.
