Observe all safety precautions to prevent Injury or death. Required Tools ! 11/16î Wrench ! 7/8î Wrench ! 15/16î Wrench ! 5/8î Wrench ! 7/16î Socket and Drive or Nut Driver ! Nickel Based Anti-seize Compound ! Gas Leak Detector Procedures The replacement instructions are comprised of the disassembly and assembly procedures. 1. Disconnect the fuel manifold harness at the manifold plug. 2. Disconnect the pressure transducer cable. 3. Open the inlet fitting to the manifold using the 7/8î wrench. Use the 15/16î wrench to support the manifold insert. This line may be pressurized. Therefore, release the pressure slowly to prevent damage to the fitting. Remove pressure valve. 4. Remove the six fuel lines using the 11/16î wrench. Use the 5/8î wrench to support each manifold insert. 5. Remove the two retaining bolts using the 7/16î socket and drive or nut driver. 6. Install the new manifold by inserting the two retaining bolts. 7. Add a nickel based anti-seize compound to the threads on the injector nipples. This is IMPORTANT. 8. Re-install the fuel lines making sure to install new crush gaskets. 9. Re-install the inlet fuel line. 10. Plug in the manifold harness. 11. Plug in the pressure transducer cable. 12. Turn on power. 13. Turn on the fuel supply. 14. Initiate an engine start. 15. Check the fuel line and manifold connections for leaks using leak detector, e.g. snoop, soap water, or gas sniffers. 16.
