Solenoid faults (5000) or flameout (6006, 6011, 6012) faults may result if connectors are not securely mated Air Assist Air Filter 1. 2” Filter element prevents debris from entering Rotary Flow Compressor 2. Filter element should be examined at recommended service intervals to ensure that clogging of the filter does not inhibit proper air flow Rotary Flow Compressor Pump (BB-RFC) 1. Multistage Compressor 2. Driven by Permanent Magnet Motor 3. Forward speed operation to provide compressed air 4. Failure to compress air can result in air assist fault (TBD) Rotary Flow Compressor Controller 1. Same functionality as used on Low Pressure Natural Gas Fuel System (BB-RFC) 2. Solenoid harness connection is not utilized 3. Component has different part number than BB-RFC controller Air Assist Manifold The air-assist manifold distributes airflow to the fuel injectors. The (manifold) check valve directs externally supplied air assist to the injectors, preventing backflow from the engine. 1. Provides distribution of air during operation to Injector 1, 2, and 3 for fuel atomization 2. Receives air from Air Assist Device when Start Air Solenoid Enabled 3. Receives air from Turbine Compressor Discharge during normal operation above 7kW ambient corrected generator output power 4. Check Valve installed to prevent back feed to Turbine Compressor Discharge side 5. Output of manifold is air distribution to Injector 1, 2, and 3 Check Valves 1. Installed at exit of BB-RFC to prevent reverse flow of fuel and combustion air 2.
