Capstone Turbine Corporation Model C30 User’s Manual 4.5.3.3 Turbine Number Submenu The main controller microturbine in a MultiPac system is designated as the “Master”, and must be assigned as number “1”. Other microturbines may be assigned in any order in a MultiPac system. However, each microturbine must have a unique turbine number. The user must be logged in with the current password to change this setting. 4.5.3.4 Auto Load Submenu The Auto Load submenu allows the user to enable or disable the microturbine to automatically meet the load demand when running in Stand Alone mode. The user must be logged in with the current password to change this setting. System Data 1/11 System Config 3/8 Turbine Number 3/12 1 System Data 1/11 System Config 3/8 Auto Load 4/12 NO • • 4.5.3.5 A Yes setting automatically makes power available to match the output with the load demand. With a No setting, the user must manually use the display panel Interlock + Enable button to allow power to be output when in Stand Alone mode before the turbine will produce power to meet the load demand. Start Input Submenu System Data 1/11 System Config 3/8 Start Input 5/12 User The Start Input submenu allows the user to specify the input source for the start command to the microturbine. As described in Communications on page 22, the input source can be the display panel (user) or digital communications through the UCB (remote). The available selections for this submenu are as follows: • User – The display panel will be the start input. • Remote – A UCB port will be the start input. • GC User/SA Remote – The display panel will be the start input for Grid Connect and a UCB port will be the start input for Stand Alone. • GC Remote/SA User – The display panel will be the start input for Stand Alone and a UCB port will be the start input for Grid Connect.
