These connections on the UCB interface board, which is at the front of the enclosure, are routed to the rear of the enclosure. Refer to the C200 Technical Reference (410066) for details about the UCB interface board. The requirements for MultiPac and Ethernet connections are as follows: • Use the shortest wiring route whenever possible. • The maximum length of all MultiPac cables combined must be 600 feet (183 m). • MultiPac RS-485: Use 18 AWG (0.823 mm2) shielded twisted pair wires for RS-485 MultiPac connections between turbines. The first and last turbines in a MultiPac must be properly terminated. Refer to the MultiPac Operation Technical Reference (410032) for details about MultiPac interconnections. • MultiPac Coax: Use 10Base-2 coaxial cables with BNC connectors for MultiPac coax connections. The first and last turbines in a MultiPac must have 50 Ohm BNC terminators installed. Refer to the MultiPac Operation Technical Reference (410032) for details about MultiPac interconnections. • Serial to Ethernet: A 100Base-T cable is connected to the RJ-45 Ethernet port on the serial-to-Ethernet converter is routed to the rear of the enclosure.
