Heat Detectors High Humidity Components Explosion Proof Junction Boxes In addition to the stainless steel enclosure, the C200 hazardous location enclosure contains the high humidity components described in the following paragraphs. Heaters Three 200 W heaters are installed to keep moisture from condensing when the system is not operating. See Figure 7 for the heater locations. The heaters are thermostat controlled to turn on when the temperature in the enclosure drops below the low temperature limit while the engine is not running. The heaters are electrically connected using electrical conduits and explosion-proof junction boxes. Refer to Table 1, and to the heater and junction box vendor specifications on pages A-11 and A-17. 480047 Rev.
