Comparing Measured and Rated Power Output for the Capstone C60 at Full Load The measured efficiency slightly exceeds the rated performance for the turbine after correcting for both temperature and barometric pressure. The measured efficiency is 0.3-0.5% higher than expected based on the Capstone performance curves. The barometric correction does a good job of explaining the slightly lower power output of 59.5 kW measured for the unit on that day. The measured power output is within 0.1-0.2 kW of the expected output. The thermal performance of the Capstone microturbine installed at this site is generally in line with expectations.
