Definition und Ursprung von Mikrogasturbinen (MGT) • Als Mikrogasturbinen werden im allgemeinen kleine schnell- laufende Gasturbinen bis zu einer elektr. Leistung von 250 kW bezeichnet. Es sind Einwellen-Turbinen mit einstufigem Radialverdichter sowie radialer Arbeitsturbine. Der Perma- nentmagnet des Generators ist ebenfalls fest auf dieser Welle aufgebracht. • Die Grundentwicklung der Mikrogasturbine fand in den 90er Jahren durch Förderung mit Militärgeldern in den USA statt.
