Failure to do so prevents the MicroTurbine from starting. There are two types of switch connections: global and local. In a global E-stop, a single switch will perform an emergency stop on the entire MultiPac group. In a local E-stop, the system performs an emergency stop on the local turbine only. E-stop contact terminals can be configured in four ways: • All global and local switches are jumpered (No E-stop switches installed) • Global connections at master, all local jumpers installed, and subordinate global connections removed • Global at master, subordinate global connections removed and local E-stop switch at each subordinate • All global switches jumpered, a local E-stop switch at each subordinate.
