Figure 11 shows a simple one-line equivalent circuit with utility grid voltage, impedances Z1 and Z2, and point of measured UVR voltage. The maximum short circuit current is defined by the per unit impedance Z1. Impedances Z1 and Z2 act like a voltage divider to define the voltage seen at the UVR sensing point.
