Capstone Turbine Corporation  21211 Nordhoff Street  Chatsworth  CA 91311  USA Technical Reference: Dual Mode System Controller (DMSC) Electrical Specifications DMSC Operating Voltages DMSC operates within the voltage range of 400 to 500 VAC @ 50/60 Hz. Annunciator Panel The voltage source used to light the status lamps is provided by the DMSC. The DMSC requires the 24 VDC version of the Annunciator Panel. The 24 VDC is supplied by the DMSC through a fuse. DMSC FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION For Dual Mode operation, a Capstone MicroTurbine, or MultiPac, must interface with a customer-supplied remote disconnect device that is connected between the utility supply and the MicroTurbine/Protected Load circuit. The DMSC provides the interface, as well as the circuitry and equipment to control the remote disconnect device. A description of the control logic, component functions, and interface requirements is contained in the following paragraphs. Control Power Configuration The DMSC contains two AC/DC power supplies. The first power supply provides 24 VDC (nominal) for use by the components internal to the DMSC. The second power supply provides 24 VDC (nominal) for use by the optional Annunciator Panel. 410071 Rev.
